Discount on IBI and ICIO
The Government of the Valencian capital has just approved the initiative this January. Therefore, buildings that have self-consumption photovoltaic installations will be able to have a 50% IBI bonus and The Building, Facilities and Works Tax (ICIO), can save up to 95%.
The beneficiary may obtain this discount on the Property And Property Tax for up to 10 years, in homes with a value of up to 75,000 euros and up to 20% of the cost of the installation. These bonuses aim to “make citizens consume clean, renewable and efficient energy, the way they are involved in combating climate change, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and also save on the electricity bill.”
These aids are perfectly compatible with others offered for the installation of solar panels outside the municipal area. This will facilitate the consumption of clean energy also in Valencia in favour of the energy transition.
In addition, the Action Plan for Climate and Sustainable Energy (PACES) has also been approved. Through this plan, the first energy communities and photovoltaic installations in municipal buildings have been launched in Valencia.
